Entry Process
When do the Awards open for entry?
The Awards opened on Monday 26 May 2023. Entry is free and open to members and non-members of the Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT).
When is the closing date for entries?
Entries are closed for all categories except the Investment in Trade and Large Business categories. The updated closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 13 October 2023.

Am I eligible to enter all of the Award categories / How many categories can I enter?
Yes, businesses and individuals can enter as many categories as they choose.
How do I enter the Awards?
All entries must be submitted via the IOE&IT International Trade Awards online entry system. You can log in and amend this as many times as you wish until the closing deadline.
When will I find out if I am shortlisted?
Shortlisted entrants will be announced by the end of October 2023.
When are the winners announced?
The category winner and highly commendable entrant will be announced on 15 November 2023 at the IOE&IT Import Export Show in London.
Do I have to be an entrant to attend the Import Export Show?
No, you can attend the Import Export Show even if you have not entered this year's awards.
How much are tickets to the Import Export Show?
Shortlisted entrants will be offered one complimentary ticket and one complimentary guest ticket. Any additional tickets can be purchased at a 25% reduction from the original price. IOE&IT members can purchase tickets for the Import Export Show for £99+VAT, and non-members can purchase tickets for £139 +VAT.

Terms and conditions
- Entry to more than one category is permitted.
- Financial information will be treated in confidence but forms will be shared with a select group of individuals for judging purposes.
- Information from the entry may be used for award winners' speeches.
- All entries must be electronic.
- Any website links used within your entry will not be activated by the judges.
- Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.
- Category or associate sponsors are not permitted to apply to these awards in the same year as their sponsorship.
- No employee of the IOE&IT or subsidiary of may be eligible to apply.
- In entering an award you are not guaranteed to be shortlisted. Three entries will be chosen to be shortlisted with one winner and one highly commendable entrant announced at the event. Entries will be judged by a panel consisting of representatives from their category sector and specialisms.
- Awards are judged externally to the IOE&IT – these will be judged via the Awards Force external platform.
- Please note you will be judged by the content on your form. There will not be a face-to-face interview or any other follow-up activity.
- Incomplete entries will not be judged.
- The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
- Award winners will be announced at The Leonardo Royal Hotel, London City during the Import Export Show on 15 November 2023.
- Please keep the 15 November free to attend the awards if you are shortlisted. Shortlisted entrants will be offered one complimentary ticket and one complimentary guest ticket.
